Digital twin modeling for predictive maintenance of gearboxes in floating offshore wind turbine drivetrains

چکیده

Abstract This paper presents a multi-degree of freedom torsional model drivetrain system as the digital twin for monitoring remaining useful lifetime components. An algorithm is proposed identification, which receives response and estimated values rotor generator torques, calculates dynamic properties, e.g. eigenvalues, parameters. The applications this in prediction gearbox discussed. method computationally fast, can be implemented by integrating with current turbine control without need new sensors installation. A test case, using 5 MW reference drivetrain, has been demonstrated.
